One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?” The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.” “Son,” the man said, “don’t you realise there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make a difference!” After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said…” I made a difference for that one!”

Much like the little boy in this heartwarming tale, our organisation started off with a humble family of doctors hidden away in a corner of southwest London, with the sole intention of making a little difference to our local community in need. And now with the grace of the Almighty, and the generous donations of our friends we made along the way, Al Hafiz Trust has been fortunate enough to operate in many countries worldwide.

Since 2006, your donations have brought smiles to faces that once wept, and have provided food and shelter to people that once were malnourished and destitute.

Whether it was helping us give emergency aid during the ongoing Syrian refugee crisis, or setting up medical facilities during the 2008 Pakistan floods, our loyal and beloved donators have been there by our side. You are the lifeblood of our organisation and we cannot thank you enough for your support.

Together we will help every child, every parent– everyone. We will help people out of poverty.
